The Bar J

Right now I'm listening to some hot yodaling by the Bar J Wranglers. The guy on the steel guitar ain't no joke...the food is not vege-friendly but the harmonies and the harmonica feel nice.

Free Day!

Elektra & myself are at 'The queen of clean' washing our stank laundry. Today is the Free Day on the trip... We will prolly hit up a book store, some Thai, the town square shootout and later it's the Bar J Wranglers. Rawhide!

ps. It doesn't matter where you go and what laundrymat you visit...there is always some type of 80's arcade thrill.

I haven't been horseback riding since I was 12. Today we did it on a whim. Broadway (my steed) was a hungry pony. He would stop every ten feet and start eating. Elektra kept turning around telling me to stop foolin'...I love her.

07/09 Goals

 

It has been a minute. And it's not a good look posting my months goals a week into the month...but yeah I've taken on extra work shifts and the holidaze had me.

I busted into the 21st century as I finally threw down on the IPHONE (mine is actually the 3GS iDAG version). I'm still trying to figure it out and yeah...if any of you out there no how to work the VID camera in black and white...you know what to do.

24 Hour/Gym:
Hit the gym at least four times a week
*I missed two times in June due to SWAB. And the Odwalla vanilla protein monster (33 grams of soy & milk protein!) was giving me a monster headache. I need to get rid of the potsy.

The Balance:
One Kelli date per week.
*Summer is a good time to get away…
Keep the 2nd grader going with her studies and well being Sunday thru Wednesday each week
*She reads SO much and her imagination is something to be jealous of.
Work my three shifts each weekend and try to come up with new perspectives and insight for the business
*June was a hot one…I did not miss any days and covered for three of my peers on the Fridays that I worked.
Read at least one book over the month
*”Y the last man: vol 2“ was DOPEness. I‘m almost done with “The Graveyard Book“.
Try NOT to eat out as much
*I’m a fast food junkie.
Take 15 minutes out of each day to sit in silence and reflect
