Believe The Hype!

Music: The show of the year and possible my life is upon us. Tomorrow night in Park City, Numbs is rocking the spot with…PUBLIC ENEMY. Chuck D is the reason that I started rhyming, period. I remember my Sony Walkman on 24/7 through High School bumping “It Takes A Nation Of Millions”. On the flyer it says that they will be playing a 3 hour set. 3 hours! WHAT? I have a hard time with my voice pushing an hour. Listening to the Rhyme Animal for 180 minutes is going to be EPIC!

After this gig, the Numbs live piece is going to be shut down until 08’. We need to focus on recording and getting some new tunes out there. Not what has been done, but what remains to be done.

Rotten Musicians are back in the studio. We have recorded three songs so far and should have another three done before the end of the year. I think Fisch wants to put out like a 8-9 song project. At this rate, Spring/Summer 08’ should see another Rotten disc.

Because of my group commitments my solo jawn is taking a bit to get to. I got some BURNERS from Fisch that should help cultivate my themes and ideas for this EP. I shouldn't’t let what I can’t do interfere with what I can.

Work: I am a part of “The Working Dead”? Is the main requirement of my job just being there? Do I get paid to do nothing all day? Some people might think that this is paradise. The air-conditioned office, the cubicle tailored with their edgy calendars and comfy nick knacks, the trivial gossip, etc. Some people have accepted this and would most likely not to have it any other way. Many jobs lack creativity. This is really no way to work, or to live.

CRE decided to get me some help finally. Where I was in total control of over 1050 trucks now there are three of us. The refuge of people who have nothing better to do.

MISC: Elektra’s 7th birthday is this Sunday. Seven…she is seven! She is the best part of me. The last seven years have shown me what really matters. I guess when the apple is ripe, it will fall…I cannot stop her from growing up, as much as I want to. Maybe I am faking my adulthood.

We are going to Disneyland for her Birthday. The Three Caballeros…E, Me and K. Elektra still has NO IDEA. She told me to plan her party and so I did. It’s going to be CLASSIC to see her reaction when we spring it on her at the airport. I’ll try and get some VID of it and post it on here.

I got a Snowboard set up for the season. Kelli and myself are going to RULE the ‘Chickadee” @ Snowbird on Wednesday nights (It’s free Nukka!). I got the following for around $250 (Lamar Boots. Salomon Pulse 152 & Rome 390 Bindings). I’m ready to hit that pow pow brah so line up the rails, it’s time to party.

Peace-DAG!
